Cookie Policy

Last updated: May 2026

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — including local storage and session storage — work in comparable ways and are covered by this policy too. They let a site remember things about your visit, such as your language preference or whether you've agreed to our cookie terms.

2. Why we use cookies

We use cookies to keep Radial Notion running reliably, remember your preferences (such as whether you've passed the age gate), and understand in aggregate how visitors move through Radial Station. We don't use them to build personal profiles or serve targeted advertising unless you've arrived via a paid campaign and consented to advertising cookies.

3. Categories of cookies we use

CategoryPurposeExamplesDuration
Strictly necessary Keep the site secure and functional — session handling, age-gate confirmation, cookie-consent record. __age_ok, __cc_v1 Session to 12 months
Performance / analytics Anonymous traffic measurement via Cloudflare Web Analytics — page views, session duration, browser type. No individual profiling. __cf_bm Up to 30 days
Functional Remembers UI preferences such as sound mute state on game widgets, and your accepted age-gate status across sessions. __cc_v1 (preference flag) Up to 12 months
Advertising / targeting When a visitor arrives via a paid Google Ads or Microsoft Advertising campaign, those platforms may set cookies to measure campaign performance. These are only active with your consent. Google Ads (privacy policy), Microsoft Advertising (privacy policy) Up to 13 months

4. Lawful basis (UK GDPR + PECR)

Strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of legitimate interests — they are essential for the service to function and do not require your consent under UK PECR. All other cookie categories (performance, functional, advertising) are only set following your opt-in consent, given via the cookie banner when you first visit the site. You may withdraw consent at any time — see sections 5 and 6 below.

5. How to manage your cookies on Radial Notion

When you first arrive on Radial Notion, a banner gives you the choice to "Accept all" or "Essential only". Your choice is stored in localStorage.__cc_v1. To change your preference at any time, clear that key using your browser's developer tools (Application → Local Storage → radialnotion.com) or clear all site data in your browser settings — you'll then see the banner again on your next visit.

6. How to manage cookies in your browser

Each major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies independently of our banner. Here are the official support pages:

7. Third-party cookies and services

The following third parties may set cookies on this site when consent is given:

  • Cloudflare — provides hosting, DDoS protection, and privacy-respecting web analytics. Cookies: __cf_bm. Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
  • Google — Google Ads conversion tracking may activate when visitors arrive via paid search campaigns, with consent. Google Privacy Policy.
  • Microsoft Advertising — may activate for campaign performance tracking via paid campaigns, with consent. Microsoft Advertising Privacy Policy.

8. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

We honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a withdrawal of consent for analytics and advertising cookies — only strictly necessary cookies will be set. We do not currently respond to the older Do Not Track (DNT) header, as there is no agreed standard for its interpretation.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. We encourage you to check back occasionally if you have ongoing concerns about cookies.
